Today we set out on our adventure with the first stop at New Brighton State Beach just outside of Santa Cruz, CA. We took the long and scenic route up the One which neither of us had done before. The views were pretty spectacular and twisting up some of those turns in a 33 foot motorhome was... interesting. We arrived at the campground and found our site which sits atop a cliff overlooking Monterrey Bay.
We were able to take the dogs down to the beach before dinner, which was quite comical as they chased the tide in and out. After a great campfire dinner we are all very tired and are going to try to catch up on some much needed sleep.
Tomorrow we will meet up with some friends and bike around to some wineries in Napa...
That campsite looks beautiful. I didn't know Niko and Riley were so introspective.
